Bridge of Grace Ministries is a trusted neighborhood anchor in Southeast Fort Wayne with a growing role in community-based economic development. Building on its work in housing, education, neighborhood revitalization, and social enterprise, Bridge of Grace partnered with Yard & Co. to clarify how the organization could most effectively support economic opportunity in Mount Vernon Park and the surrounding Southeast Fort Wayne neighborhoods. Yard led the Explore Phase of an Economic Development Strategic Plan, helping Bridge of Grace understand existing assets, aspirations, and challenges; define its distinct role in the local economic ecosystem; and build shared ownership around a future direction. The work included community and stakeholder engagement, Steering Committee guidance, Board alignment, and case study research, culminating in an Explore Phase Summary Report that captured key findings and outlined next steps for future Test and Build phases.
