The Huber Heights 2023 Comprehensive Plan will guide the city’s growth and decision-making around mobility, public spaces, land development and resilience for the next 10 years. The Plan’s recommendations draw conclusions from an eight-month planning process involving robust data collection, stakeholder and public engagement, and stress-testing of ideas. Stakeholder and public input was collected through interactive online maps, surveys, pop-up events at popular destinations, focus group meetings, and through a special “Ignite the Heights” community event located at a potential redevelopment site. Videography also played a role in communicating plan updates and opportunities to engage. The final plan was unanimously adopted in March 2023.
