“Experience Mill Creek,” led by Yard & Co, HomeBase, and the City of Cincinnati, aims to get the Valley on a path where everyone can thrive. Opportunities for economic empowerment, environmental justice, equitable growth, and education and recreation will guide decision-making. Furthermore, an Executive Committee of neighborhood leaders, technical experts, and key property owners is playing an active role in ensuring project outcomes meet the needs and strengths of the valley neighborhoods.

Specific revitalization strategies are underway for five key areas in the Valley. Community engagement will include a paid ambassador program, pop-up events, and local advisory committee participation. The project will conclude with the construction of temporary, 3- to 5-year installations that support retail and community-building activities. A corresponding operations plan for the management of each will additionally be provided.
