Millersburg, Kentucky located in Bourbon County was once a vibrant small town. Over time, essential services and vital amenities went away causing the fabric of the community to become frayed. Recent investments in a new multi-use gathering place (event venue, business incubator, and school) have opened the door to a future community that is a regional destination that embraces small-town identity. Yard & Company, in collaboration with Ross Chapin Architects, worked with local developer Community Ventures and Millersburg community members to create a vision that reinvigorates the spirit of Millersburg, leverages the town scale, social life, and housing qualities, and provides the blueprint for the first pocket neighborhood.
